The summer is a hot season but there is often a light breeze that provides cooling relief.
There are many summer festivals and at night you can have a drink at a sidewalk cafe. The sea is warm and everybody enjoys the beach.

Autumn is an extension of the summer, which goes on until October. You can swim until late October. The evenings are still very mild and you can dine outside at the sidewalk restaurants. It is also the period of the grape harvest in the region, which is also the time of many village festivals.
